CPR + AED Certification Course

Course Write up

CPR+AED is the lifesaving skills to cardiac emergencies. The SRFAC accredited CPR+AED certification course will assist you to update your knowledge and skills whether you are new, or recertifying. 

No prior knowledge is required. You will be learning through self-paced online learning with a physical role-play and hands-on practice and assessment.

Certification
CPR (HO) +AED certificate valid for 2 years accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council.

Learning Outcome
By the end of the training, you will learn about

• The Chain of Survival
• Your roles in a cardiac emergency
• The signs of cardiac arrest and respond to cardiac arrest victims
• Steps on hands-only CPR and use of an AED with practice on a manikin
• Simulation of real life scenarios to relate to this new skills and knowledge

Course Format

• Online Theory
  • Preparation will be provided to you in the form of notes and videos online. Key theory will also be highlighted during the physical sessions
• Physical Practice and Assessment
  • Practical: Perform the correct steps on hands-only CPR and use of an AED with practice on a manikin
  • Theory: Pass the theory test with a minimum of 80%
